Forests also provide habitat for wildlife, clean our air, filter our water, function as water storage and conservation of biodiversity. At Summit Forests USA, LLC we believe to leave these assets to the next generation it is essential to manage the business on a sustainable long-term cycle from reforestation to harvesting over and over again. Based on our parent company’s 400-year history as the Sumitomo Group and 100-year history as Sumitomo Corporation, we look ahead 100 years from now, taking on the challenge of sustainable forest management in the United States.
